About

Thanks for visiting! Throughout this site you will find ways to help you connect, collaborate, and be creatively productive in your life of business and business of life. As an anywhere worker myself, I have experienced the ups and downs of virtual, mobile, independent work. There is a balance between the power of honoring your authentic individual self and connecting / collaborating with others to fight the isolation of mobile work. Congratulations for taking responsibility for your own life-long learning and development! This places you in the elite of anywhere workers. My mission is to share learning opportunities and experience with you and to learn from your experience. I am your executive coach, Linda DeLuca. SIGN UP to stay connected and get twice as much goodness as you can read in the posts through my bi-weekly coaching message.

Linda DeLuca, The Existential Coach

Linda DeLuca, The Existential Coach

a personal story

You may notice that I call myself The Existential Coach. Learn more about Existential Coaching here. But first a little about how I became an existential coach. After exploring coaching as a profession for over 15 years and searching for the right program, I attended an information session at local university. After about 10 minutes knew I had found what I needed…these were people just like me!

The decision to enroll in the program changed my life. During the course of my studies, I worked with many supportive and inspiring people. One was Ernesto Spinelli who introduced me to The Existential Approach to Coaching. I had found my philosophical approach for my coaching practice and the topic for my graduate thesis.

I knew one day I would start my own business and this was the catalyst for taking action. Existential psychology and literature continue to influence and inspire me to experience, learn, and grow in my life journey and in becoming the existential coach. This site is a place for me to share that continuing journey with you and hopefully, for you to share your ideas with me. We are, of course, all connected!

    • Presentation Lesson: Build Confidence
We Are All Afraid. From college students to seasoned professionals – we all fear speaking. It is the number one fear. We fear public speaking even more than we fear death (and spiders – yikes!) So how do we all do it? How can it be that so many of us are actually presenting day [...]********Presentation Lesson: Build Confidence is a post from: presentationYO […]

SMILE Mirror At the beginning of my career (many years ago) I was provided customer service training. I don’t remember much about the training (apologies to the trainer) because  it never really became a habit (learning is not an event). One thing I do remember is the small mirror they provided as the anchor object [...]********presentation lesson: smile, yo […]
    • presentation lesson: Focus on clarity
With clarity you can have positive impact on decision making and action taking. Without clarity there is procrastination, indecisiveness, lack of motivation, or lack of action. Which of these scenarios do you want to inspire when you present? When you have a conversation? Your words and your visuals are used to focus your audience on what is [...]********pre […]
