  1. You are absolutely right, things just happen. It is far easier for us to blame others for things that don’t go the way we expect, than to say well shit happens and no cosmic change in the universe made it go that way!

New follower from bloggy moms. Can’t wait to read more!

  2. Hi Linda! Followed your link from Bloggy Moms and I have to say I really liked this post a lot!

I’m not sure where I stand on Fate vs. Creating Your Own Destiny…?!

All I know is, (and I’m only speaking for myself) I have uttered these words many times before, but not to just make me feel better after a disappointing event. Instead, I’ve said these words because shortly afterwards, I felt a vibration of another more appropriate event coming in its place.

So in essence, it “wasn’t meant to be” or “things happen (or not happen) for a reason”. And the reason must be the fact that something else, better suited for the situation is on its way!!!

I know that may sound like mumbo jumbo for some people, but it always works for me. If something isn’t meant for me, it won’t happen no matter how much I try to make it happen!

Oh well, enough philosophy for one day! Catch you on Bloggy Moms! :)

Hi Chryssy! I’m so glad you stopped by.
I think it’s great that you know that something better is coming in place of the ‘wasn’t meant to be’ event.
We all work through the crazy events in life in whichever what it works for us individually. I’m glad you stopped to think about it a bit. That’s really what I like to make sure folks do – think! Instead of just doing things because that’s what they’ve always done, or because that is what the parents did.
Maybe we’ll have another philosophical post soon!
      Ciao
