Azione-Scopo Coaching Process
Discover – Choose – Act
The coaching process will be different for each client as you and your coach bring unique worldviews to the engagement. Though your individual preferences and style are honored in the process, your coach will challenge you to rise above your comfort zone.
The coaching program follows these phases:
- Discovery: In this phase you and your coach will…
- Clearly identify roles and responsibilities
- Establish one key goal of the coaching program
- Uncover the gaps between the current state and desired state
- Understanding the purpose behind the goal
- Identify your preferences and areas of strength
- Choice: In this phase you and your coach will…
- Deepen your understanding of your current state (data gathering)
- Identify the results of and accept responsibility for prior choices
- Plot the course of action toward achieving your goal
- Establish structure to support your chosen course of action
- Action: In this phase you and your coach will…
- Execute the action plan
- Assess the ongoing results, your experiences and learnings
- Identify necessary course corrections (returning to Discovery)
- Measure progress toward the desired goal
- Build sustainability of continued progress
In each individual session, your coach will guide you through the following structure:
- Opening Review: Your coach will ask you to provide a status update of successes achieved and obstacles uncovered.
- Coaching on topic: As the client, you set the agenda for each call. The coach will guide you to maintain forward motion toward your desired goal.
- Closing and action: Your coach will invite you to establish key action items to be completed for next session.
